went to petenwell with blue perch and a couple other friends fished 830 until 445 slow day caught 5 crappies 4 of which were 12-14 inches had 5 flags but no fish caught 1 small walleye right as we were wrapping up had quite a few lookers and a few short hitters 1st highlight of the day was venison steak cooked on camp stove 2nd highlight of the day came about 400 when a neighbor fishing alone hollered for a lil help blue perch was 1st on the scene followed by the rest of us here he was in battle with a sturgeon had it on for over an hour 6lb line finally blue perch was able to grab him and hoist him out the hole what a fish still a fun day and wayyyy better than working

Great report. Any day of fishing is better than work. Work and fishing go hand in hand. We need both to operate!!!!!
