Went on a after work trip again back up to Greenmore, north end.The cold weather has finally taken hold and the ice was about 4 to 5 inches thick now.Came in from the west side thru the woods and the going was good.No ice hanging from the trees yet from the dropping water still made the walk easy. This weekend might be differant? Talked to a few guys on the ice on the way out to where I have been setting up and they sead the bite had slowed down but it was going hot and heavy from mid morning until early afternoon and then came to a crashing slow down. It was slow for sure but for 1@ half hrs. worth of fishing I caught 9 keepers and thru at least that many back down the hole.So I’m happy with that. The fish seemed to be right on the bottom and didn’t want a lot of movement in the jigging motion.Well take care.STEVE
