Just got 4 in the mail today and they seem to work good.
They are filled with a clear liquid and have a metal disk inside that you snap and the thing forms some white fluid and it gets hot. To refresh the packet you boil in water for 5-12min till the liquid changes back and you are good to go again.
I’m thinking they will work good for the transition time in between fall fishing and ice season
