I am wondering about a bunk loading set by Overton to help load my boat.

I seem to have trouble getting my 16foot Alumacraft loaded. Has anyone had any experience with these loading guides?>
There seems to be all kinds of prices on on them, just wondering if anyone else has used these things.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

Don’t have the Overton Guides (I made my own)but a set of guides makes any small boat load a bunch easier!

Do not spend too much…they all work about the same…

One tip….don’t put the trailer in to far…the bunks should just touch the water…

I got the 5′ bunks from Overtons, best thing I’ve done in a long time. They were 10% off with free shipping last winter. Five feet long with the heavy brackets and bolts the free shipping probably saved me 30 – 40 $
Loading my boat now is fun instead of a nightmare.
Mudshark is right about not backing the trailer in too far.

If you have a roller trailer, I have found the biggest mistake guys make is that they have the trailer too deep in the water while loading. Try to have the back rollers 3/4 from the back just under the surface then when you drive on it will center the boat much better on the trailer.
