Well, I needed to open my bottle of wine to have a glass and someone decided to use a “unique” way of opening the bottle instead of using the corkscrew for which it was made. I would say that this certain someone has the “itch” to go hunting and it’s just killing him! So he decided to put his hunting tools to use!!

I found the folding footsteps work better. They give you more leverage on those corks Bullet puller on my Lyman press work pretty good also. The bolt I use for pulling stuck brass out of the sizer fits the generic end of the die head. Nice long stoke of the press and the stickiest of corks pop right out.

You might be a redneck if you use a tree step to open a bottle of wine.

    I use a deck screw and a vise grip….

I prefer the smaller accessory hanger (mini treestep). Screw into the cork much easier….
