Make sure a few of those blankets they have at the hospital come home with you. They are the perfect size for swaddling, and you cannot buy them anywhere.

Being a dad truly is amazing. Both my wife and I have been running on very little sleep, but couldn’t be happier. It is like having everything you ever wanted in life just show up. A miracle is the only way to describe it. I guess all the dads reading this know what I mean.
I do have to give some props to my wife. Mother’s Day will never be the same. The labor was long and difficult, but ended well with everyone healthy. Mandi and I first headied into the hospital around 4AM on Sunday morning. While Mandi was getting poked and proded on Sunday morning I was fortunate enough to catch both HuntFishTV and IndepthOutdoors on television. Mandi didn’t quite appreciate all of the hardwater lake trout tips that James and Scott had to offer while having contractions, but enjoyed the show for three minutes inbetween them. Maeva Murphy Holden was eventually born at 7:13pm Sunday night. The family is now at home enjoying each other. I wanted to thank everyone for all the calls, text messages, emails, and posts as it is such a wonderful experience. My life has changed and it feels good.

24 months and were still waiting! But truth be told you two will want her there in a few months. From this point forward your daily cores will never be the same. You never realised how nice it was to go shopping alone!
Congrats on the little one. May you never forget the blessing that was bistowed on you. (The last bit may be tough at times. )
