How Many Species?

The thread about the trout caught Saturday got me thinking, how many fish species have you caught in the river? I’ll get it started, these fish were caught by me or someone I was fishing with in my boat since 2015:
    Walleye
    Sauger
    Saugeye
    Northern Pike
    Perch
Crappie Not sure if black, white or both
    Carp
    Sheephead
Paddlefish (Accidently snagged one a couple of years ago that I measured in the water next to the boat before unhooking it. Measured just under 7 feet from tail to the tip of its beak)
Shovelnose Sturgeon (Wish I would have weighed the one I caught a couple of weeks ago. Turns out the state record is only 6 lbs 7 oz. and the one I caught was all of that and then some)
    Quillback
    Red Horse Sucker
    Big Mouth Buffalo
    Threadfin Shad
    Channel Cat
    Flathead Cat
    White Bass
    Smallmouth Bass
    Rock Bass
    Mooneye

I’ve gained an appreciation of rough fish species fishing the river, some are a lot of fun to catch.
Edited to add Rock Bass & Mooneye, I’d forgot those.

Wouldn’t have a photo per chance?

I’ve caught what have PLUS a number of
    Stickfish
    and
    Rockfish.
    Mudpuppies guess that’s not really a fish…

Did you catch the Thread fin shad up this way?
I’m guessing they were gizzard…either way, still a shad.

Yep you are right, I just looked up threadfin and Gizzard Shad and it was a Gizzard. I figured the thread off the dorsal fin made it a Threadfin but I see the Gizzard Shad have that also. Here is a pic of the Shovelnose

I love the color of that photo!
PS MN/WI has two different state records although someone just jumped it up to 7 pounds 13 oz.

Only thing I would add is large mouth bass. I haven’t caught all the species listed but pretty close.

I forgot about the fishing net, glove, and shoe that have been caught.

I’ve heard others catch anchors and fishing rods, too.

Seems like all I ever catch on the river is rocks…the local baitshop can probably attest since I buy a handful or jigs after every trip…

    Drum (#1 catch…)
    Walleye
    Sauger
    Saugeye
    Perch
    Crappie
    Bluegill
Green Sunfish (I think, should have posted something about it)
    LMB
    SMB
    Rock Bass
    White Bass
    Northern Pike
    Channel Cat
    Flathead Cat
    Blue Cat (of course)
    Shovelnose Sturgeon
    Lake Sturgeon
and all sorts of shad, buffalo, carp and other crap I never properly identified

No trout, Gar or bowfin for me on the ole Miss yet, but I’ve caught plenty of each elsewhere.

Used to catch Dogfish all the time. Haven’t seen one for a while though. Don’t catch many but see a lot of Gar swimming around.

    Snook.

Also if my reef runners count as a species then you can add one to your list.
