Spent a few hours on Big Lake yesterday just west of “The Chain” The Largemouth were eating up all of my crappie minnows! If you want to have some fun catching a lot of bass head on over to the lake.. only caught one sunfish which was pretty small.. but my 4 year old was able to net a huge 19 inch LM that I caught on a slurpie w/ ultra-light tackle (4lb test, etc)!! What a proud moment that was for me! If its Bass you are looking for head on over.. P.S. Joe’s last resort is a great spot to land your boat.. he was a really nice guy.. and for 3 bucks, its better than the tiny public landing on the south side!
