High winds on pool 4

Hey folks. I have a quick question. I am heading to everts for a 4 day trip starting the 31st of this month. Weather forecast says stiff nw winds anywhere from 15-30 mph. I am from Eastern iowa and have fished the miss in some nasty weather. I was just wondering how bad the river gets up by the dam with a stiff nw wind. May be a silly question but just wondering what to expect. Main reason for my question is because I’ll be in my 1648 flat boat. I’ve taken on 2 foot white caps before but it was not pretty haha. It isn’t really wavy on the river unless you run down to the lake or can line. You will be fine.

North winds aren’t as bad as south wind ,south piles up the water against the current and it can get real rough .
