I’m working my way through more of this fall’s collection of Humminbird Down Images, collected on the Mississippi and on Lake Wissota. A couple images of rocks, and rocks with fish, stood out. Here are a few examples; more will be posted here and on my website soon.
This first image is of a wingdam, specifically the tip of the 3rd wingdam downstream from dam #3
Heading just a bit upstream….here’s wingdam #2, with a number of fish sitting on the bottom behind the dam, as well as another group riding high on the backside of the dam. That group of fish can be seen in all three frames here….Down Imaging in the upper left, traditional 2d (200kHz/83kHz dual beam) in the lower left, and Side Imaging on the right.
