Does anyone know what kills rhubarb???

I have my yard being overtaken by Rhubarb, I think it is wild rhubarb! Any type of spray or chemical I can put down to kill it and is there anything that will not harm the grass???

    Thanks!

I gotta guess, it is considered a broadleaf…. which would mean Tri-mec should take care of it and spare your grass

2,4-D Amine. Stinks a little but will clean it up and leave the grass alone. Roundup and grass don’t mix very well.

X3 on the 2-4D the only thing i would suggest is to use a good surfactant. I use either a non-ionic crop oil or sprayable ammonium sulfate. I have found that when using a low pressure atv sprayer or hand sprayer that I don’t get a nice FOG, this greatly reduces the effectivness of your chemical. round up or 2-4D will work much faster and be more effective with a good surfactant.
