I’m packing up to hit the road fishing and have to prepare the music for the drive.
One of my favorite bands to drive to is the Alman Brothers. It always goes in once I’m out of the cities.
    Some others…
    Boston
    Doobie Bros
    Nazereth

    I know, I’m stuck in the 70’s

What are your go to tunes?

Yeah gotta kick a trip off with something high energy. “Panama” by Van Halen is usually what I use to start things off the right way. )

I’m obviously in a different genre than you guys.

    Alice in Chains
    Soundgarden
    Foo Fighters
    White Stripes / Jack White
    Led Zeppelin
    Seether
    Godsmack
    Five Finger Death Punch

I have 250 songs in my “fishing music” play list, but those are the bands with the most songs.

If it’s a fishing road trip a great choice would include the “Fisherman’s Chronicles” from Primus.

    John the Fisherman
    Fish On
    The Ol’ Diamondback Sturgeon
    and Last Salmon Man.

This happens to be the correct answer.

Mine’s mostly older country, classic rock, and oldies. Nothing will ever beat George Strait for me.
Bob Segar, Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, AC/DC, Garth Brooks, Springsteen, Waylon, Cash, anything 80s – 90s country. Lately I’ve been really getting into Texas/Red Dirt Country- check out a guy named Aaron Watson.

Any music is better than none, and thank baby heyzus for Pandora! I’m usually rocking a little Eric Church, David Allen Coe, Led Zep or The Doors on Pandora.

    Good started list. I’ll add

    Metallica
    Megadeath
    Korn
    Disturbed
    Pantera
    Pearljam
    Stone Temple Pilots

    Many more along those lines.

Love the new stuff from Foo Fighters. Can’t get enough right now!

No need to pack that classic 80s rock stuff. Turn on the radio just about anywhere to listen to that.

How about a good song to clean fish to on a Saturday night.
When I’m at a friends in Nevis, we listen to 99.1 (out of Bemidji), and every Saturday night they play the long version of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.
Needless to say the volume on the radio is turned up.
