This is a replica Superior National Forest BWCA sign I made for the garage with the old school two tone color scheme. I’ve since made a few more for friends that wanted one.
I’ve also made Minnesota and Lake Superior shaped wood signs (about 2 ft long) and played around with wood burning. I love how wood burning makes the wood grain pop.
I tried to make that big knot represent isle Royal on the Lake Superior sign.

I used to have a hoody that said do not feed the bears, it was a huge bear with a kid in his belly
July 10, 2023 at 7:36 am #2212679A friend gave this to me as a garage warming gift when I moved into this house in 1990. Don’t know how he obtained it.

Hmmm?
Bought it on ebayApril 29, 2024 at 7:13 pm #2270149I’ve been holding off because I fear it’s a slippery slope into something else to collect. A month or two ago there was a pretty big auction online from a house that had a ton of great, old beer signs. I would’ve bought so many of them.
For me, it’s just one of those things, that I just have to avoid all-together. The amount of cool antique outboard manufacturer signs and other fishing signs is just too much.
