I just returned from LOW following a Sunday through Friday fishing adventure. Good weather, bad weather, boat trouble, but lots and lots of big walleye. We rented a houseboat from LOW Houseboats in Sioux Narrows and spent the week fishing from a base on Fog Island just out of Long Bay past Yellow Girl Bay. In the five days that we fished hard, the four of us caught and released somewhere between 30 to forty fish between 24″ and 31.5″, the last being the largest. Caught lots of smallies but nothing big to speak of. Encountered very few northerns regardless of size. One word of caution! You cannot take POTATOS in to Canada. Don’t ask me why but they will make you leave them on the US side and then you have to buy their crappy potatos in Canada. Otherwise, had a great time. Will post photos when they are done.

Congrats on a nice trip Bass Addict! Sounds like you had those fish dialed. What type of water were you fishing? Shallow, deep, cranks, rigs, spinners?

Would love to see some pics when you have them availible.

We caught fish in water anywhere between 8′ and 50′. There didn’t appear to be a specific level where they were bunched. We used bottom bouncers with 3′-4′ snells and Phelps floater jigs in flourescent colors tipped with leeches.
    Worms didn’t work.
