Woke up this morning around 8 am to pancakes, eggs and sausage waiting….

We ran out to our usual spot drifting 12 fow water to 18 feet of water. It was game on minus a few bumps on my end….

We ended up heading back in around 12:30 for shore lunch.

We started off dragging jigs, chartreuse fuzz e grubs and gold lindy jigs. Then wind got whipping and with two magnum drift socks we were still clipping along at 1.2 mph.

Switched from jigs to blades and the bite got even better…..

We ended up with our full limits….so we had a fish fry…lol

We are gonna head out again in a bit and hope to tangle with some big pike. Or just one big pike.

Water temps on main lake was 52.4..the males were still leaving a heckuva mess in the livewell…..

The fish are simply gorging themselves right now. One fish had two 5-6 inch perch one other one had about an 8 inch walleye/sauger and two small perch…

I really wish there was a cool story today. Pretty simple day though.

Sounds like the bite has been sporadic, I have some friends in the gap doing ok, not much happening for my buddy in the river.

I know shortline is east of me somewhere and sounds like he is having a good time as well.
