Make sure that you dont have any blockage from lint anywhere….must have air to get to heat….

    Does it heat at all?
If so, check the vent, it may be partilly plugged.

If no heat at all, could be one of the limits or temp controlling thermostats, burnt or broken wire, timer bad, temp selector maybe, etc.

Have you tried different temp selections/cycles?

Post the model and I’ll see if we have a wiring diagram tomm.

Then the limits/temp thermostats or wire would be my first guess.
You have a VOM and basic knowledge of electricity???

We have a Kenmore dryer that quit heating. One of the wires in the plug was loose. Dryer still spun, but woul;d not heat. Took plug apart, tighten wires, works great.

I had one pole (OF THE TWO) of the circuit breaker go bad,..make sure you can get 110 volts out of each side to see if that’s the problem.

Thermal goes out many times from a plugged up vent, make sure to check that before you fire the dryer up.

All ready got that checked out,and cleaned out, really wasn’t that much build up but may have been just enough to cause it to over heat. Again thanks Al

Don’t forget the lint screen, they can get gunked up with fabric softener and restrict air flow, may not be noticeable but cleaning them yearly can help
