Don’t know is this is true (got it in an email) but I thought I would share.

Here is a photo of a cougar arrowed in Caledonia, MN on December 18th.

The guy who shot it is 6 foot tall, weighs about 220 lbs, and can bench press 300Lb’s.
He was in a deer stand near Consolidated Rd. And County
Hwy. B. He saw it pass him upwind and then down wind. When
The cat passed him again he knew that it was hunting him.

That poor lion has been in ten different states this year alone

I will say though, whoever or where ever that cat came from, he is one big critter

LOL. This is just like the world record pike story that was caught out of “Mille Lacs.”

Actually, that picture is of me, i raised him from a kitten. We got him really drunk and he passed out, so we wrote on his fur and held him for pictures.

Hey, that’s the same guy that took the pictures of the bear (Grizzly) that chomped down on the high voltage wires in Grand Rapids, Mn.

    Here is the Snopes report

Thanks for the link Jason. The guy must have been a pretty good shot to have dropped him with one shot.

It’s been at least a year since we’ve seen the pics of the flathead cat eating a big red ball. An oldie but a goodie!
