I’m just full of questions today, huh?

Any of you guys know if a guy can order a new boat without the rear seat bases installed, just a flat carpeted floor? I’m headed to the boat show to “Look around” and was wondering.

I’m sure someone at the show can answer the question, but I think in part it would depend on the maker, otherwise I’m pretty sure you can get caps to go over the holes, and pretty much the best of both worlds IMHO.

f it’s a glass boat, probably not. The cap mold would have the seat bases (footings, cut outs ect) in the mold.

If it’s aluminum, you could probably order the way you want it.

I ordered my Ranger without the driver and passenger seat mounts drilled. I will be using a different base with my Smoothmoves. As stated before, it all depends on the manufacturer.
