Developing Story WITI-TV — It appears fumes from an LP gas appliance overcame three hunters in Lincoln County. Two of them died. One is being treated at a Milwaukee hospital right now.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says a 911 call around 12:30pm Friday indicated that three people were found unresponsive at a cabin in the Town of Harding.
The deceased include a 79-year-old Merrill man and a 71-year-old Shawano man. A third hunter, a 77-year-old man from Milwaukee, suffered the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning.
