swim platform on Lund Tyee

    I recieved a kicker motor for my 1850 Tyee from a buddy. It came with remote control throttle but the cables are to short reach the driver seat. I have a swim platform on the starboard side. Should I move the swim platform to the port side or buy longer cables?

    I would get the longer cables, it will be a lot less work, you will also not want all the weight on one side of your boat or your handle hitting your cover on the big motor. Good luck
