Anyone notice any access issues? I cant bring up the site or it just freezes. Been doing it all day. I can access any other site fine when this is happening.

Oh sorry. Been doing a little screen scraping to build a database of IDO members. Move along, nothing to see here.

This happened once before and I was told it was my PC. The problem went away and I did nothing to my PC.

Yeah all morning for me. I am just trying to distract myself from exams but it forced me to study!

See? Had you listened and bought a Mac you wouldn’t be asking this question today!

I’ve had a few people ask about the site being down this morning. Since I haven’t had a problem, it’s hard to escalate it to level two.

x3 but I’ve been checking different parts of the site. Seems the Ice Fishing forum is very slow to pull up for me.

    Other areas are okay.

For me all areas of the site are very fast except the Ice Forum. That particular forum is dead slow which is odd. Anyone else seeing the same?

    I have people on it.

I put it down to allow a peek behind the curtains.

The only issue I’m seeing is the inability to access the ice forum, which is obviously a big deal. All other pages load quickly. I’m also able to access posts in the ice forum through Today’s Topics. Browsing through those links into the ice forums results in very fast page loads whereas using the category “Ice Forum” link does not work.

Again, are others seeing the same?

Well that would explain why I didn’t see anything goofy. I haven’t been in the ice forum all day.

I tried just now and waiter for 45 second…never did load.

What happens when you click on the latest “IDO TV – Panfish in Winter Kill Conditions” link in Today’s Topics?

Pulled the video up right away for me when clicking on it from today’s topics.

I don’t know if this is related or not, but earlier in the day I did notice QB’s post in the ice forum looked a little strange with the number of replies, but I’m at work soooo…….

The solution would be to find a way to wipe all spammers off the face of the planet. But that’s not going to happen. In this case BK gets credit for dealing swiftly with the spammer plaguing us.

Had I not threatened and just did it…he wouldn’t have spammed us…

…but the rest of you guys would have left too.

Maybe they’ve been installing filters to weed out BK’s pink undies posts. That alone would bog the site down a couple hours.

I think k gets the kudos for saving the membership roster for the site. She was pretty swift in keeping Brian in line!

Accessing the site via http://www.idofishing.com. Web page error no valid network or something along those lines. Could not even get the home page.

It was that or New Ranger 621…
