    A good fisherman would be trolling with 2 planer boards in order to cover the whole area.

    If he’s so worried about gas mileage an a boat he should just get a kayak. Far more fun fighting a musky from a kayak vs a carola. It is pretty funny though.

    DNR gets money for you fishing out of your boat (reg tags), they don’t get squat if you troll with your car. I’m sure they will come up with something!
