I am just wondering if this would be any interest to members here.

I was going to do a step by step instruction on where to clean (or where I clean) fishing reels. With pictures and a short write up about critical steps and wear points. I was fishing going to do a post about the original Curado Bantam’s that everyone seems to have laying around. That reel is pretty universal to use as a demo reel too.

I just wanted to know if there was some interest.

Ditto! I usually clean mine once in a while, but I’m not sure what I am doing most of the time. Great idea!

Yes.. very interested, my poles have been in sand so sometimes it’s really hard to reel in after changing the line but not sure how to take it apart and clean.
Pics would be very helpful too.

Alright that is enough interest for me. I will try to get it done this weekend.

Agreed all that dirt that is on the rod has the potential of getting into the reel.

    Good suggestion
