Mike is the man
He’s based in the North metro, but if you’re out of his area I’m sure he can refer you a good local person down in Shakopee.
Sound like the boiler drain hooked up to the back flow preventer. The boiler drain is used to hook up compressed air to blow out the system in the fall to prevent pipe freeze damage.
If it is the boiler drain just turn off the water to the sprinkler system, unscrew the drain and bring it to your local hardware store to get the correct size valve.

I just had Mike do some work for me, and he did a great job…
Got a quick job to do in S metro tomorrow. Might be able to swing over and get that fixed up for you. 763-755-6886
