Im going on my first ice fishing trip this winter to mille lacs, and i am not exactly sure what to fill my tackle box with. All i have are jigs, but i would like to add some spoons or jigging raps to my arsenal. I would prefer to use Custom Jigs and Spins, just because they seem like a better deal and they are pretty local (i think?) But anyways, any recommendations on some colors or shapes?

    Two words… Slender Spoons!

These things out produce any other baits for me on Mille Lacs.

Favorite Colors would be Silver/Hot Green, Silver/Glow, Gold/Hot Green, Gold/Glow all in 1/8 oz size.

Check out the largest size demon jigging spoon. They are a nice lure and work great for bass, big crappie, perch, and walleye. They are an Iowa company.

I havent tried the slender spoon yet, might try it this year.
