    Thought there may be a few folks out there that may be affected by this settlement.

    LCD TV Settlement

    Get a few extra bucks back for the fishing/hunting stuff.

    speaking of… does anybody ever get anything from these lawsuits ? Over the years, I have filed with afew, but not once did I see anything after that…. other than more junk mail

    I recieved a check from an Apple monitor law suit once.

    They advertised a 15″ screen when less then 15 inches was workable.

    The check for my portion was .28

    These class action lawsuits are typically a scam to everyone. The group of attorneyes that seek you out are pocketing a very large percentage of money. I call it blackmail to capitalism. Althought fiction, read the “King of Torts” by John Grisham. It’s basically the same thing that these class actions are made of. In the end we are all paying.

    Yup, an extortion racket which the courts are allowing (even facilitating) to be perpetrated against U.S. businesses.
    So of course the beneficiaries are the plaintiff attornies

    getting off my soap box now … before my demeanor is ruined for the entire day

    Did one once for a credit card. I got $0.03

    Dont recall ever seeing any money-the attoneys say they are fighting for the consumer-BS
