Figured I would get a rise out of more then one engineer.
Arguing with an Engineer is a lot like mud wrestling a pig: After a few hours, you realize that he likes it.

… and the fact the there’s no rubber foot rubbing paint off my lower unit.
That just pisses a guy off…
Obviously we are in dire need need of the Riley axiom:
Which states that one test is worth a thousand expert opinions.
Isn’t it half time and now we get to watch the cheerleaders perform?
Wow you guys are rocking need to go to my OP to learn more a bird in hand is better than two in the bush
You can lead a horse to water but don’t look in his mouth if he has a gift for you.
Find a zebra mussel, pick it up, all day long, you’ll have good luck.
We have no idea where we’re going but at least we’re making good time.

I showed this thread to another Engineer today and I quote… “wow, this guy couldn’t be more wrong and yet he believes so strongly he’s right.”
Let me guess, you both went to the same school and both finished at the bottom of your class? Birds of a feather flock together, they say.
I guess Yamaha is wrong too. LOL.
I was in your spot once, not believing that the Wedge would do the equivalent function of the bar type…until I opened my mind and realized it does work. Pretty simple actually, if you just put your stubbornness aside and refusal to accept that you might be wrong.
Are you a civil engineer? If so, that would explain A LOT.

Well, does anyone know any first hand infomation of a transom being damaged while trailering without either product?? Rather than fighting over the cure, lets make sure there’s a problem. My guess is like everything else, make a product and find a market.

buz killer
Wow talk about confusion. Other than the wedge being rubber, what is the difference between the wedge and the trailering tabs that come standard on your motor. My owners manual on my brand new 115hp etec tells me to use them while tailering. Thoughts?
