    Doing a B&B looking for a nice place to eat dinner Saturday night with in a half hour drive.

    The Black Stallion, right on highway 52, has a good selection. Or the House of Coates in Coates, just up the road is also quite good. If you are looking for a more casual meal, Little Oscar’s just across the highway from the Black Stallion in Hampton, is great!

    Wiederholts is very good steakhouse, House of Coates has best burgers in metro.

    My wife is a good cook but we will be at “Survival Days” in West Concord on Saturday so your next best bet is Wiederholts.

    Go to the restaraunt in the St.James hotel.The Black Stallion is the worst of the worst now,smells like a school locker room.Weiderholts is sub par now.Its a nice ride from CannonFalls to Red Wing and you will be very satisfied with the food at the St.James.I lived in the area for years and highly recomend it.I like the bison rib eye myself.
