Walrus paw . . . hahahaha!
Chad posted that pic on another forum. I’m not “that kind of guy”, but that walrus paw grabs your eyes and won’t let go.
Apparently, that fish sent him to the ER after nicking a tendon.
You see the post of the 57.5in one that was caught? That’s gotta be a close state record in length. Not the right time of year for weight though.

Hammernick’s fish? Yeah, that thing was a hog! I’d love to see how fat that fatty-fatty-boom-ba-latty can get in the fall.
No walrus paw, though.

Yeah, looks like Brown’s Point in the background.
That’s what I thought. I knew there was a record in Tonka, if not 10 more.
This is exactly why I always where a cup while musky fishing. Probably explains the monkey butt too…

How heavy do you think Chad’s fish is? It’s pretty unlikely there’s a 55-58 pound fish in tonka the forage base just isn’t there to support it. I fish weekly with one of the top guides in the metro ( John Hoyer ) and talk with a bunch of the other metro guides and most agree 56″ and high 40 pounds is about the max. Tonka is a awesome lake fo sho but let’s be realistic about its potential

Brown’s Point may be in the background, but the point of discussion is in the foreground.
