What does a guy need to make this happen?
Is just purchasing power cord to go into cigarette lighter?

    Thanks,

Yep! Pretty simple. $39.99 for the Lowrance cord I believe. I put RAM ball mounts on my 4-wheeler and sled, now I can use the GPS from my boat to ice fish.

What if you don’t have a cigarette lighter power source on wheeler,
    What’s next option?

I wired mine directly to the starting battery.

Just be careful when you do this, not all GPS units run on 12 volts. The hand held jobs usually have a voltage regulator circuit inside the cigarette lighter plug that reduces the voltage. A regular “in the boat” unit should be OK.
