Well I took my grandpa out this morning for some walleye fishing on lake superior. We launched from Superior wisconsin, and headed down the shore. We had a light west wind so it was a perfect morning. We fished from 5 till 1045. It was perfect timing because a big storm moved in right as we got dont fishing as you can see in the picture. We trolled for a hour and then we finally found them. A gold reef runner deep diver 40 feet back in 35 feet of water was the ticket today. We ended up with 5 walleye, a 24 incher, a 23, and 3 under 20 inches. I also lost a nice salmon right behind the boat, wow do thoes things fight! It was nice to finally get some walleye for the pan since you can only keep one over 20 inches. Hopefully the bigger ones will be biting this weekend! BTW thank you brad and ben for the tips you showed me out on mille lacs, they helped me today!
