I got out with my friend Jim today, we hit several spots and caught fish on all of them. Two dozen fish total with 5 keepers. Lots of 22″-24″ and up to 26″. It’s great to be in full swing again. The fish hit even better when the sun came out. Water was 45-49 degrees.
Nice! Jigs and minnows the favorite meal?
1/8oz jigs and rainbows worked just fine. We had to be moving very slow (.1-.3) or still to get bites. Fish seemed spooky but could be finessed.
Will be heading up Sunday for a week so hopefully they will still be hitting! This is definitely encouraging and is causing me to study a lot less than I should be for exams.
