Fish Creek – Egg Harbor

Going to Door County for a long weekend, I would like to do some shore fishing if possible. Does anyone have any advice from shore in this area? Don’t really care what species, just looking to get a tight line.

Chug Bugs, White spinner bait, 5″ K grubs, gizzard shad, and rattle raps all do well. Peninsula State Park has some nice shoreline areas that have deeper water near shore

Most of the piers in the harbors offer pretty good fishing.
One in particular has been very, very good to us in the past.
Its been a few years but I believe its called “Andersons Pier” in Ephraim.
You’ll know when you see it cause the tower in the middle of the pier looks
like a rocket ship.

Another excellent spot for smallies from shore is “The Stone Quarry” located on the NE corner of the Sturgeon Bay ship canal. Lots of deep water very close to shore and all the rocks a smallie could ever dream of playing around.
There is also a very new and excellent boat launch located at the Stone Quarry.
