I bought one of these flame king refillable bottle last summer to try. They work awesome and I use them for my small blackstone, torches and buddy heaters. They have been pretty much impossible to find but walking through menards today I saw some on the shelf! I grabbed all 5 that they had and now I should be set. I got them for $14.xx a piece with the 15% off bag sale

I could never find them in stock so I ordered on-line and had them shipped to the store. Picked up 6. Nice to have full 1lb tanks and filling is so easy.

Spent some time looking for the Flame King refill kit and a couple of Flame King refillable cylinders online. Ordered them kit from Runnings. Got an email in less than an hour that the kit and one of the 1#s are on the way. About 2 hours after that got an email that the 2nd 1# is on the way. yay

I dont use 1 pounders often, but I need to get this kit and switch over. Would be much nicer than lugging around a big tank all the time.

Its kinda funny, I was gonna list this thing in the other thread about disappointing purchases. I didn’t, cuz I got it as a gift. Still sitting in the unopened box in my garage. Plan was to use for camp stove, lantern, quick ice trips, but then kids sports started in and all those opportunities went away. Geez, maybe I should sell the thing if they’re that hard to find.

Why wouldn’t you use it? Not sure how anyone could even say a bad thing about them ???

Oh no, I am not trying to disparage the product. Just that I never seem to use it. I always have a 20. All the situations that I would use a 1 lber I never seem to go.

I’m a fan of the 5# tanks, perfect intermediate.
