December 22, 2012 at 2:13 am #1122990Look up five cut fillet on you tube. Hands down best way to get boneless pike fillets. Super easy and works great. I found last year. We never used to keep pike cause there such a pain to clean. Five cut is just as easy as filleting a walleye. the only thing I add is on cuts 4 and 5 ( low side fillets) is after they are cut, peel them in half down the lateral line to remove the second set of y bones. Then they are truly 100 % boneless
