Probably. Where do you do most of your fishing and for what?

Side imaging has been great for me. I can mark all the cribs in my local lake mark structure AI want to go back and fish, mark pods of fish, etc etc. I even put my ice shack right between 2 of the cribs I marked using my side imaging unit If you are able to get it, get it. You won’t regret it. I have seen both and I think you will be happy with either Lowrance or Humminbird.

I believe you get more value/more for your money with Humminbird products vs. Lowrance.

I actually like the DI better than 2D sonar.

Downimaging is much better than traiditial sonar for many applications, so I’d say go for it if you can afford it.
