Now that the deer are really starting to move, and especially more daytime movement just wondering how everyone does calling sequences(a.m. calling can-calls, rattling, grunts?) and what they use to reel in the deer? I personally start just about sunrise with a few doe bleets and listen for rustling of leaves and keep my vision open, then listen for the lonesome buck grunting, copy the sequence of the buck if in sight follow up with a hard weeez to get him really going… I’m using my “Buck Roar” from primos the 3 in 1 offers a wide variety of grunts and doe bleats as well as the weeeeezzzz…

I typically do not do much calling at all….I will however rattle a little in the next couple weeks starting off in late morning. I usually like to let the deer on their natural movement until the rut really turns on. Than I will crank it up a little more with snort wheeze and some grunting on sighting of a buck.

I have just never had that much luck with calls…
