It was this last weekend, but out of Wabasha not Lake City. I hope to have the official results from the St Jude folks soon and I will get them posted on the website (www.stjudefishing.com).

    From memory (definitely not official).
    1st – Don Hanson / Zimmerman – 52#’s and change
    2nd – Tom Howland / ? – 52#’s and change (.3 behind)
    3rd – Jimmy Johnson / ? – ?
    4th – Brent Haimes / Matt Larson – ?
    5th – Larouqe / Hall – 46 #’s. (Note same/similar weight to last year when they won)
    6th – Matt Pretzer / Jeff Mulholland

    Can’t remember beyond that.

    Thanks
    Chuck

    Great job ??

    I mean, Bomber.

Seriously, 52 pounds, damn, that’s big. Was it 8 fish for 2 day tourney?

Also, nice work to Jimmy, Brent, Matt, Joe, and anyone else on that list that visits this site. Sounds like a fun tourney!

    Guys

The fishing was awesome but so was the fundraising.
We don’t have the final figures, but it should be somewhere between $127,000 and $129,000. We don’t have the numbers from Saturday nights banquet. The top fundraiser were Winchester and Bentley at $8,498.

    The results for 8 fish are;
    Zimmerman/Hanson 52.82
    McCann/Howland 52.54
    Matis/Johnson 48.24
    Larson/Haimes 46.92
    Hall/LaRocque 46.32
    Mulholland/Pretzer 45.62
    Blazer/Suckerson 44.89
    Ward/Ward 44.89
    Larson/Bauer 44.75
    Allen/Whiting 43.77
    Snow/Harrington 43.52

The bad news for the top 10 is only 3 teams met the minimum fundraising and got the bonus award. The top 10 left over $5000 in prize money on the table. I’ll bet that won’t happen again next year.

If you have to Know, Eric and I were a pound out of the money in 13th place

Dont worry John, it wont happen again . And I know you will be reminding me every time we cross paths for the next 365 days. I wasn’t able to get a partner lined up until mid April and I was still able to raise $300 in only 2 weeks, so it should be a little more productive next year.

    Chris,

Your welcome and thank you for everything you do for St Jude.

It does look like I misspelled a name. it’s Severson, not Suckerson!

    Hey Y’all,

Here are a couple of pics of the buck I arrowed last Thursday. I named him “GRAVEDIGGER” for his shovels and great mass! He unofficially greens 172″. I’ll get a story with more pics up soon!

    Thanks,
    Travis
