The Prior Lake Hooksetters BASS club will be hosting their 9th annual Kids Crappie tournament Sunday, April 27th on Prior Lake. Every kid entered will receive a grab bag full of fishing stuff, a souvineer photo, plus a free entry in the kids drawing. Every kid in the drawing wins a prize. We give away many rod/reel combos and tackle boxes, plus lots of other great kids stuff. Adults can enter a cash raffle that is loaded with great prizes. Last year we gave away a stainless steel grill valued over $500.00!
Entry and Casting Kids competition will be at Captain Jacks on Prior Lake from 7AM-9AM. Blast off at 9AM and weigh-in at Captain Jacks at 2PM. Cash prizes for the top bags, plus big fish. Cost is only $25 per boat, whether it is a 12′ skiff or a pontoon full. Every year we have a couple of each. All contestants get free minnows.
If you have kids or grandkids, bring them to Prior Lake on April 27th and I guarantee you will have the time of your life, even if you don’t win.
