Anybody fish for channels at Tannners or another local in the east Metro?
Looking to try a ice a channel cat locally, size doesn’t matter in the catch as it will be with kids and not for consumption.
Any tips on a depth to target would be helpful also!
    Thanks.

try Island lake off 694 they stock the hell out of it with cats and walleyes
    just fish em like crappies,
they dont hit very hard, unless they really have the feed bag on,
so a spring bobber is a must

Thanks! have you caught them there?

Also, heard Battle Creek across from Tanners, I see a lot of people ice fishing Battle when I drive home. I thought that lake was aerated, anyone know where on the lake it is?

    Thanks.

The open water is on the west side of the lake and there are thin ice signs up there now. I have seen channels on both lakes but never caught only on camera.
