Open Water

    I will be heading up late Wednesday to hopefully get my sturgeon dance on. We will be staying at Wigwam and I was wondering if anybody had some updates on how close open ice is to the resorts up there? I’ve heard Vidas is open. Any in Baudette?

    People were ice fishing in town this weekend on rainy. I didn’t check but I am sure that public access in baudette is still iced up. Lots of sturgeon caught near frontier landing this past weekend.

    I read a report that the river is open to just east of Baudette.
