You flat head guys up north might be interested in a study that was done in pool 10 about 15 years ago but still holds true today.I commercial fished catfish back then and the DNR would fallow us and tag the fish and release them .There was thousands of them.But what was real interesting was the bigger fish ,all channel cat,they would put a radio trnsmitter in them a they studied them if I’m not mistaken for 3 to 5 years.Some of these fish would travel 60 to 70 mi. our more to summer haunts and back again for the wintering holes.I would think if you would contact the DNR they could send you the info on this.It’s quite interesting if you are into the movements of fish and thier life cycles.
