Ben will have to give up his reign as walking talking good luck charm this year – he’s skunked so far – my wife decided to take that spot over.

I’m flying off to work here, but a coupla pics from last night:

Cedric has to show mom how to hold the fish on the first – a 14 pounder:

We got a 29 pounder in between (pics will follow), then right before leaving this bad boy hit:

He tipped the scales at an even 50!

The wife just had to try to hold this one:

Those are some great photos. Love the look on your kids face in the first photo. Also not sure who is smiling more in the last photo your wife or the cat fish. Maybe if I could get my son to tie into one of those big cats it would get the fishing bug going in him. Walleyes just doent seem to faze him.

Everyone’s all smiles Matt! All are nice looking fish and the 50 takes the cake!!!!

Looks like you’ve got 9 out to 10 digits in the “code”!

Dang nice fish Matt! I don’t think I’ve caught a true 40 this year. Better get my behind out on the water.

I like all the pics of that one, but this one has special significance:

He was still quite frisky for the release.

Matt, I was thinking the same thing about the face on your kid! Kind of a toss up between fear and sheer excitement! But isn’t that what fishing cats is all about?
Thanks for the pics! The best of the year in my humble opinion!
