Best Cheap Filet Knife?

    I think Rapala hardens just the edge of the blade. I’ve owned a couple of the four inch wooden handle knives, and they would hold a decent edge for a while. But eventually you’d sharpen them and then the edge would fold or get dull pretty quickly. It’s small enough that I still carry it in the boat, but not my first choice when I have a pile of panfish to clean.

    Cheap but good….Dexter or Rapala! DK.

    I Guide on LOW Canadian side .Use a wooden handled Rapala every day. Sharpens easy. I clean a lot of fish.
