Hello, I was thinking of driving up this weekend but since Taber’s closed, I don’t have a way to get a current condition report. I know the smaller area lakes are safe to fish, but is the big lake walkable yet? Was up two weeks ago and the north basin was still wide open. Thanks!
It appears everyone is out. There are houses with vehicles parked by them when comming thru town on the south end but the norht end is still iffy. Smaller lakes have been locked up for a week or two so there is good ice just be safe as it varies alot. Good luck!!

There is a new bait shop in town, Destination Sporting Goods. Next to Discount Liquor and across from Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
