Anybody own and run this combination? Dealer told me the new 70’s are about 1mph different than these F60s. If you do run one, what prop are you using?

I know this does not answer your question exactly but I have the Nav 175T with an F75 on it – great fishing boat. Perfect layout, lots of room, adequate storage. I can get mid 30’s with al prop 13.5 x 15

I’ve been calling around and have talked to a lot of folks about this. All agree the F60 can plane 2 people but more than that will cause an overload that will severely affect ability to get on plane. The guys at Cabelas in Rogers recommend the F70 on the 165 and the F75 on the Nav 175.

I had a yammi f60 on my 165t from new in 2005 as that was top rating then. In 2008 rating on new went to 75. Alumacraft re rated mine to 75. I bought a f75 as soon as i could get one. F60 was way too weak on low end for that much boat. I went from sort of liking my boat with the 60 to loving my boat with the 75. The 60 trolled slower and was quieter. Otherwise 75 rocks. Bought it from LaCannes. Great to deal with.
