West Metro Ice Conditions

    I plan on heading out to the west metro this weekend. Anyone know how the ice is looking on lakes around 300-400 acres. I went up to Isanti County last weekend and found 5-6 inches of ice on a 300 acre lake, and 3-4 inches of ice on a smaller lake.

    I saw someone out in Carson’s Bay on Lake Minnetonka this evening. It’s a bit bigger than 300-400 acres, but there’s some good fishing in that area around the drop off out in front of the yacht club.
