I got to try out this jig last season and it definitely has a new place in my tackle box..

When the pan fish are looking for that vertical presentation this little jig shined for me..

Tipped with either a spike or artificial the color combinations of the waxie jig put fish on the ice for me..and i think the glow eye on the back helped tip the odds in my favor !!

I think they look fantastic for those big bull Gil’s that sometimes just need a vertical jig. I am waiting for my stock pile of them to get to my house and I’m sure I’ll have to take them in the boat to try them out this fall while waiting for the temps to drop.

What would your go to colors be for this jig?

Order rounds of different sizes in all colors! Thanks for the heads up.

For me my go too color for a tough sunfish bite is gold. Lots of time if I know the fish are there and they won’t go I will downsize and put on one spike and work the fish.
