Went to the store last night looking for new line, looked at the packaging on the sufix 832 ice and it said the same thing and the non ice braid 7 Dyneema® plus 1 GORE® Performance Fiber and 32 weaves per inch. So is there a difference or the same braid just repackaged??

The differences are in the spool sizes and line diameters.
    Regular 832 comes in 6, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 65, and 80 lb test in 150 and 300 yd spools.
    Ice braid comes in convenient 50 yd spools and 4, 6, 8, 10, 20, 30 Lb test

There is a difference between 832 Braid and 832 Ice Braid. Sufix applies treatments to the 832 Ice Braid to enhance the hydrophobic properties of the braid thus making it better to use for ice fishing. Both lines are great for cold water fishing, but you’ll have added protection against ice build-up using 832 Ice Braid.

That what I was thinking, why pay $10 for 50yrds when you can get 300 for $25 ish

I believe the 832 ice has a special coating as stated above. Hopefully someone does a review this year in cold outdoor conditions….

Is the Sufix Ice braid really good to use outside the shack in below freezing temps? I tried regular PP outside the shack last year and it was no good. Please, be honest as I’d like to use braid for jigging pike outside the shack this year.
