    1st time out this yr was a good day for me and russ on the bark.. 3 eyes and 4 crappie in bout 3 1/2hrs. shoulda caught more but the whitebass were stealing all our minnows dark/silver rapalas working good too ;-) The big eye was 19.5in, with an 18 and 16incher to follow.. should be good eatin!

    It’s the time of the year when the shore fishermen are out producing the boaters. At least they didn’t have boat control in the wind to worry about. Too bad we couldn’t have stayed longer when it actually got nice.

    Jigged and trolled Saturday. Was pretty rough out with the wind. Not one bite. Couple guys trolling the river got one, lost one. Back at it Thursday.
